Lari + the Wolves live @ Poolbarfestival

Two years after the band was formed in Vienna, Lari + the Wolves (then known as La Risa) released their debut album, Little Girl, in 2017. Their second album, Of Worth, followed in 2020, earning the quartet the Sound@V Award in the World Music category. Their third album, Mask, recorded for the first time as a quintet and under a new band name at Little Big Beat Studios, followed in October 2025: Between raw vulnerability and defiant strength, an intense total work of art unfolds, one that views the mask not as a hiding place, but as a shield against others’ expectations, projections, and judgments. Themes of self-definition and self-determination, as well as the overwhelming demands of our time, are united on the new album—intense, multi-layered, and yet with the quiet promise of a new beginning.
